I can't believe it's been 20 years...I still feel 24!
We went to my husband's 20 year reunion about 5 years ago and I asked him if he was sure we were at the right place, because everyone there looked soooo old. He didn't look the same age as those old codgers. I'm sure that we all won't either!! (smile) Well, I just wrote a book for the memory book and won't be as detailed here. In a nut shell...after graduation I went to a year of college, cared for a sick mother, went to cosmetology school in Provo, UT., worked in Evanston, WY., served a mission for my church and went to the Italy Milan Mission (northern Italy) for 1-1/2 years, moved to Spokane, WA., met my husband and got married year later, didn't have children for 6 years...gave up on fertility etc. and adopted two beautiful little girls (both babies when we got them). They are both bi-racial beauties. The oldest, Johanna, is now 3. She is jamacaian/cauc. Natanya is 18 months and is afro-amer/cauc. They have blessed our lives and we KNOW that God intened them to be our sweet little daughters. We are living in Quincy, WA...about as central WA as you can get. We have been here for a little over 7 yrs. It's an O.K. place for now, but we are keeping our eyes open for something better for our family. We hope to get to part of the reunion and I hope to see alot of old friends....not old, but....friends that I haven't seen in awhile. (smile)
