After reading through all the messages, I've come to the conclusion that a majority of us haven't changed a whole lot - still a little whacky!!!
I haven't changed any. I'm still a "nobody" except I'm a "nobody" with a badge and a gun. Scarry, huh? Actually I'm a Sergeant with the Idaho State Police stationed in beautiful Coeur d'Alene (that's northern Idaho for those that have not adventured to the great, white North). In fact, as an ISP officer, I have met a few of our classmates in the most unusual places. Like Eugene Gallegos, speeding down an extremely icy Highway 12 by Orofino. (Remember, Gene, you still owe me one!) Anyway, since high school I have worked several jobs in the floral industry, to traveling while working for a fire retardant business, to driving for UPS during Christmas in Emmett. I went back to college and during my sophomore year at BSU, I tested for the Idaho State Police and after attending the police academies, I was sent to Lewiston. After arresting a man and taking him to jail, I met a beautiful gal working as a dispatcher for the County Sheriff's Dept. We were married in 1993 and we have two children, a 4 yr. old boy, and a 3 yr. old girl. I requested a transfer back to Boise and we moved back to the area (actually Nampa) in 1995. I worked the Boise area until I was promoted to Sgt. in Coeur d'Alene in Sept. 1999.
Like Diane Schnebly-Cortez says, it is beautiful up here and there are lakes everywhere. It is so nice to be able to see pine trees out the window!
I look forward to seeing you all again!
